I recently had the pleasure of dining at Al Arez, a wonderful Lebanese restaurant in London. From the moment I arrived, I was impressed by the warm and welcoming atmosphere, and as I started to explore the menu, I knew I was in for a treat. Firstly, I must mention the food - it was simply outstanding. The Makanek, a Lebanese sausage dish, was a revelation. The dense molasses sauce was beautifully balanced, and the sausages themselves were juicy and delicious. Equally impressive was the Hoummos Awarma, a rich and creamy hummus topped with shredded lamb, which added an extra depth of flavor. And the Dolma - stuffed vine leaves filled with a tasty mixture of rice, herbs, and spices - left me wanting more. Perhaps the highlight of my meal was the Stuffed Lamb. The lamb was tender and juicy, perfectly cooked, and generously stuffed with rice, minced lamb, and a blend of aromatic spices that created a complex and satisfying flavor. It was a real showstopper of a dish, one that I would happily go back for time and time again. But it wasn't just the food that impressed me at Al Arez. The service was also exceptional. From the friendly and attentive waitstaff to the expertly prepared dishes, everything was top-notch. The staff were knowledgeable about the menu and were able to recommend dishes based on my preferences. Overall, I cannot recommend Al Arez enough. It is clear that this restaurant takes pride in its cuisine and provides a truly authentic Lebanese dining experience. If you are looking for great food and exceptional service, then make sure Al Arez is on your list of places to visit in London.

I had high expectations of this place after reading previous reviews. Unfortunately, the staff were not very helpful. The restaurant was empty but the manager wouldn’t let us choose seats which is very odd. The tables and seats themselves are very dated. Food was really suboptimal and bland. The temperature was also cold to warm rather than hot. Unfortunately, not what I expect from “Lebanese” restaurants. I regret choosing this place.
