Not often you find a service company that acts as professionally as they do from the off with the initial assessment “ right the way through to performing the packing delivery and unloading and then the follow-up calls to make sure we were happy. Akers helped move my nearly 80 year old mother out of her old home last August, stored the the contents of her house and then moved her into her new property last week (April 2023). They have been absolutely incredible. Very professional as well as kind, patient and courteous. The service has been excellent, nothing too much trouble and we were kept informed at all stages of the move. We had a first class service from Akers and recommend them to anyone thinking of moving. They were recommended to us by our neighbours after they moved with them, and they also employed Akers on the back of recommendations from friends. You get the picture! We invited Akers after getting three previous quotes, and their quote came in very competitively, cheaper than two of the others. So this excellent 5 star service does not come at a premium. We found every member of the team to be extremely friendly, helpful, courteous, careful, professional and patient, and all our concerns were addressed - everything that we have opened so far has arrived in perfect condition.
