THE best place to have a curry wether you're in Leeds, Bradford, Glasgow or any other of their venues. I grew up in Leeds and whenever I go up North I always try plan my trips around been able to get to an Akbars. The food is literally amazing and the prices are very reasonable. Do not miss on Akbar-e-Balti, Haleem or Family Naan when you go, you will not be disappointed.

It was ok, had better. The place looks little tired I.e lick of paint would be nice especially greasy bannister to the bar. Bar attendants seemed uninterested. No welcome, smile or drinks menu. Might aswell be self serve. Asked for a G and T shockingly poured half a small bottle of Tonic into a glass put the lid on and moved it to under the counter. I asked can we have the rest of the tonic as we may order another and not order another tonic. Response was shocking “we don’t give the bottle out even if there’s any left we give a fresh bottle” . My response “have you charged for the whole bottle” if so we’ll have what we’ve paid for”. Wow never seen this kind of bar service from anyone or anywhere around the world.
