Andy was great throughout the process, If there was any issues Andy was straight on it and went beyond on several occasions. He came with several types of bricks that would match the existing brickwork. He ended up sending one of his staff to the midlands to get the same type of brick. We changed the design of the bathroom, and this was not an issue. The AKB team modified the plan and end result was amazing. We needed a wall and old decking removing from the rear garden. Andy and his team removed all the old decking / soil and levelled out the ground and built a retaining wall. Services: Home addition construction, Home extension services

The new space is massive - Andrew made great suggestions. Really nice bathroom install and his tradespeople couldn't be more accomodating. Very positive experience all round.

So how do we feel about our new loft conversion from AKB? Well... we are absolutely made up with it! The quality, looks and extra space we've gained is just superb! We made the decision to go with AKB after seeing a neighbours loft conversion done by AKB and viewing the quality of work first hand and their experience I must say I'm very glad we made that decision. From the moment I met Andrew it just felt right and I've been very impressed with him and his whole team throughout the build. He has very decent set of skilled tradesmen working for him who came to work on time, were very pleasant to deal with and did a great job. Andrew is very much on the ball and won't let any shoddy work go through which I was pleased to see. Doing a large project like this is quite daunting and can be stressful but as AKB managed the whole build from the initial design, building control, and construction it all seemed to flow very well. We are really pleased with our hip to gable dormer conversion with ensuite bathroom which has totally transformed and greatly increased our living space in our house. All that's left to say is a big thank you to Andrew and his great set of lads for a cracking job well done! Cheers!

We love our renovation’s! AKB built our kitchen extension, helping us renovate our 1930’s semi. The extension involved installation of some pretty big steels, velux windows, bricking up unwanted doors and windows, retinal of 2 chimneys and installation of pocket doors. Great work, great quality. This is our 2nd time working with AKB, no complaints about the finished product. Loft conversion completed in 2022. Really pleased with the quality of the work and all tradespeople were specialists in their trade. We thought it might be roasting in summer and freezing in winter but it’s been great. It has transformed the upstairs space in our house with 3 double rooms and a single now. We were unlucky with the weather (no roof in storms) and the guys were really responsive when we needed them to come out and sort the roof coverings. It took 14 weeks which is longer than we thought but we did ask for a few changes to what was on the plans. We had to do a bit of chasing as the teams are juggling loads of projects hence only 4 stars but if you want to know your project will be good quality I recommend AKB and have done to others. We had our loft conversion done by AKB in early 2022 and it was a very negative experience for us. The lack of professionalism was shocking, the project was constantly running late and we were blamed for the delay instead of them owning up to it. Calls and messages were ignored when we had no workers showing up. Parts of the contract were not fulfilled but we were still charged for the costs. In the Roundhay area we have come across a few people who had very similar issues with this company so don't be fooled like we were and stay clear!

Had an attic conversion from these guys and couldn't be happier with it. Andrew and his team are all exceptional at what they do, with great attention to detail to make sure the work completed is of the highest standard. It's transformed our 3 bedroom semi into a lovely 4 bedroom house, and it's changed our lives immeasurably. Not sure how we coped with just one bathroom for 6 years! We love our new bedroom and en suite, and it's been money very well spent. Feel like we've got an absolute bargain. Particularly with house prices in north Leeds being bonkers. Can't recommend AKB highly enough really. Everyone who came to the house was courteous, cleaned up after themselves, and were polite and professional. Even made mates with a couple of the guys cos we're Leeds United fans lol. AKB are starting a side extension very soon, and it's reassuring to know that we have the best people on the job.
