I did a tandem hand-gliding flight with Matt, and it was flippin' amazing! Definitely recommended. Matt's a thoroughly nice bloke and I felt totally safe at all times, despite my fear of heights. I'd definitely try it again, and may even book a course with Matt - with his experience and straightforward approach, I think he'd make a great teacher.

Communication from the time we booked to the experience was great, our instructor Matt, was knowledgeable, personable and clearly passionate about the sport. We had a great spot on the South Downs and got a wonderful view of the ocean when we were in the air. All around, a highly recommended experience!

I first sampled cloud skimming with Matt on a tandom, which opened my heart to the air.... ....later trained with Airsports Sussex, hopped over to Spain for some Point Break style sky chasing organised by them where.... ..I jumped off lake cuddled mountains, circled with vultures, made some fellow student pilot glide-brothers, bathed in natural hot springs, gained my CP, got a tan and returned a deeper man. Matt is the most knowledgeable, wise and inspiring hang glider guru out there. Rich and the rest of the team at Airsports Sussex offer an easy going yet unrivvalled journey to embracing the skies. A really fantastic day doing a tandem flight with Matt. I was fortunate to be in a small group but was really impressed with Matt's approach, he clearly has a lot of experience and made sure everyone was safe throughout, the passion and love for his sport really started to rub off. A rare mix of peaceful experience with nature and adrenaline! I hope to be back again one day.

I'm a hang glider Club Pilot with low air time and wanted to get a bit more experience so opted for a tandem. Even though I'm qualified to fly solo, I can thoroughly recommend a tandem flight with Airsports Sussex. It's an amazing experience that you'll never forget. Matt and Rich are professional so you feel as safe as you can be whilst also making it fun. I took my family to watch and we all had a brilliant day, even if I was the only one to fly. I wish the guys at AS all the best and look forward to seeing them again.
