ATG goes against the stereotypes that might come to mind when someone says tattoo shop. It’s such a lovely and inviting atmosphere. Resident artists and guests alike are always professional and make you feel mega comfortable, even with a needle in hand ;) I always always recommend ATG to people looking to get tattooed whether it’s their 1st or 70th tattoo. UPDATE: unfortunately it gets worse. After receiving a message from Jack saying that he’d like to do anything he can to sort the tattoo free of charge so I’m happy with it, we scheduled to meet on 16th December 2021 (booked on 24th November). Unfortunately, I was booked in for wrist surgery at the last minute, and as a result of the general anaesthesia my mind was foggy and I completely forgot about my appointment. I received a message from Jack on the day of the appointment, to which I apologised profusely and asked if we could reschedule as I’d just had surgery. He told me that was completely fine and we could reschedule for April. Given the tone of his messages, I thought everything was fine, seeing as previously I had waited five months to even book this appointment. On the 19th January 2022, I sent him a message to ask if he had an idea of when my appointment could be booked. He didn’t read the message, and at some point I noticed that I couldn’t send him messages anymore because he BLOCKED me. I am astounded at the level of unprofessionalism here, and clearly Jack didn’t care enough about my unhappiness with his tattoo to perform the simple act of rescheduling with me. Not only that, but I was sceptical as to his ability to “fix” the tattoo anyway, as he basically said he’d plug it with some white ink, even I know that wouldn’t work but I was willing to have him try as it was free. I have currently had multiple sessions with a lady who performs tattoo removal at Titanic Tattoo and Piercing to remove this tattoo, the place that Jack used to work out of, and eventually told her who had done the tattoo. She was shocked to find out, and informed the rest of the staff. I plan to get the tattoo, and the accompanying memories, completely removed to be covered with a genuine traditional snake and dagger tattoo. Do NOT get a tattoo from Jack unless you want to be overcharged and treated with unprofessionalism. Got a tattoo from Jack a couple years back, asked for a traditional snake and dagger tattoo and was okay with the design. However I’m disappointed with the application seeing as I paid a high price for it, I expected quality. There’s a line down the middle of the dagger which is SUPER wonky, plus it has scarred badly to the point where a lot of the lines are non-existent anymore. Really disappointed, wouldn’t trust him again and might get the tattoo removed.
