Wow! Even though I ordered this as a takeaway, my god I was so surprised.. I am very poorly and thought some spicy African food would kick the flu out as my housemate cooks amazing African food from back home.. I thought this would not be as good as my housemates cooking but it was bloody amazing!! So tasty, everything was just delicious!!! I could of eaten everything I ordered but because its so tasty I have had to save some for tommorrow!! Highly recommend..

The food was absolutely amazing but let down by poor service unfortunately. We arrived in the restaurant as a group of 5 and waited by the entrance for a long time but no one came to seat us, despite the staff making eye contact with us on a few occasions - they didn’t acknowledge us either making us confused on whether to wait or sit down. After a while of waiting we headed inside further until almost at the tables before a member of staff came over - we then had to walk back down to the entrance so they could pick up the menus from the counter at the front. We are normally very understanding with busy restaurants and staff, but at the time we arrived it was almost empty. Service was fine once we were sat down and our food arrived pretty swiftly, but when we wanted to ask for tap water or the bill it was difficult to flag down staff because they weren’t present a lot of the time on the restaurant floor. This is such a shame because the food itself is fantastic! Very large portions, great flavours and lots of options available, we all thoroughly enjoyed everything we ordered. Their signature Afrikana fruit punch was also amazing, and the decor and atmosphere inside was really nice. Dietary restrictions: A vegetarian/vegan menu is available with several starters and mains to choose from. Their food is also Halal.

The parking was horrible as it’s in quite a busy street although we managed to find it after, as we were fasting they provided us with fruit to open our fast. The food we ate in general was good but not good enough for the prices. The waiters were really nice although the service was bad. It took way too long for our order to arrive - when we ordered chips it took about 30 minutes when it was just chips. The drinks were so good definitely coming again just not going to be getting the same things. Parking: 3 streets down to where i parked
