Had a lovely lunch and absolutely enjoyed the food. Tasty and hot when delivered at table. Prawns was my favourite amd Pork belly was put off this world. A truly delicious and memorable lunch. The smell inside is so inviting, you just want to eat everything on menu, can recommend the curry's 100%. Well done to owner and staff. Support them, and A definite to go back to restaurant.

This restaurant borders on cultural appropriation through using black colours to suggest it's a Black business which is misleading, although it's the colours of the SA flag (it's owned by a White man) and the name "African Chow" suggests it represents African food rather than just South African food eaten by White South Africans. Plus, mainly staffed by non-Black people while using a black-coloured hand in its logo. Plus, they stole the name form a Black-owned website. This isn't great.

Amazing food and a great atmosphere!!! The vibe was relaxed, very friendly staff and the food was absolutly amazing!! As well meat curries, they also have delicious vegitarian and vegan options. Although we aren’t local to Brighton, we do like to get away when we can to Brighton and this is now a firm favourite we will absolutely be returning to whenever we can.

ABSOLUTELY PERFECT! Our first order from African Chow was a delicious and very nourishing surprise, the food here is way beyond what we expected. The beef curry flavours are rich, tasty and perfectly balanced, with the addition of the roti this is a match made in heaven. We also ordered two portions of the Pork Belly Bites, which simply melted in ours mouths, full of flavour and again delicious flavours! Watch our for these guys! African Chow is on my go to favourites list already! Thank you :D
