I wouldn’t even rate these windows one star…. They are terrible, poor quality, use cheap components and their customer service is appalling. We are stuck with awful flush sash windows that don’t open and close properly, we ordered over 20 windows and doors so this was no small job, and we have been left with their manufacturing faults. We’ve taken the installer to court, but really, the poor quality came down to the rubbish produced by Timberlook. We gave Timberlook every opportunity to put things right but they didn’t want to know. I would recommend steering well clear of this awful company, the windows are cheap and nasty, there is much better out there.

We had a large number of AWS flush sash windows and two doors installed by a local company. It was obvious there was an issue with the windows at the start of the installation, but we were assured it could be sorted out. Turns out the issue was a manufacturing fault throughout the entire install, which meant the windows did not open and close freely, without the handles and locking mechanisms catching the rubber gaskets and central mullion. AWS engineers visited our property but weren’t able to solve the problem, which eventually resulted in us being left with faulty windows throughout. We received a terrible service from our installer and turned to AWS for help to try and solve the issues, however, the response we received was equally as bad, and AWS even threatened to report us for harassment if we contacted them again! We’ve had a professional survey of all the windows and doors, there is no doubt the manufacturer AWS are at fault, the quality of the product is not to a suitable standard. AWS post so many photos on instagram and Facebook advertising their wonderful looking windows, however, whether they are actually fit for purpose is questionable. AWS should be ashamed of how they’ve behaved and shown so little compassion for victims caught up in a mess caused by them. Unfortunately we couldn’t take legal action against AWS as our contract was with the installer. I would not recommend AWS or it’s associated companies (Timberlook), there are much better window manufacturers out there.
