A gem of a shop designed for those with a live of the outdoors. It is such a well stocked shop full of mountain walking equipment. The staff are some of the best I have talked to about walking holidays, rental gear, kit lists. They have loads of holidays for guided walking over some of the most extreme and stunning places on the planet. It's a rare find. Apparently people fly in from Dubai just to get advice from the professionals in this store.

Aways a good place to check out. Lots of choice of clothing, staff are really helpful and well informed. I seem to buy something every time we visit! Great selection of clothing, I appear to be collecting Haglof at the moment, there are always great sale bargainsš The cockapoos Daisy and Alfie appreciate the doggie treats š¶šThe cafe upstairs serves good food as well

Was in the Lakes on holiday a few weeks ago, needed some extra walking Leggings. Fantasticly helpful staff. Not only that, said leggings unfortunately had a hole in the back, which I didn't notice until I put them on the next day, called the shop, they said to pop back in. Changed with no fuss, helped me pick a new pair. Brilliant little shop, staff very knowledgeable and helpful. A full 5* from me.

We went in for walking shoes and did not find anything suitable but the shop tracked down a shoe that was suitable and suggested a shop in Keswick that had it in stock. The advice about shoes an jacket was given freely with a great depth of product knowledge. I will make this my No1 outdoor shop from now on

Excellent service from Adventure Peaks. I found the Rab Gortex coat I was looking for, in my size, on the informative website, and ordered with ease. Mark called me the next morning to say heād refunded Ā£50 as the coat was now reduced! ā¦. and to say the coat would be with me the following day. He was right too, the coat arrived as promised. It is top quality, exactly what I was looking for and fits perfectly. My husband, family members and friends are so impressed and will certainly be shopping with Adventure Peaks in the future. Certain members of staff are cocky and degrading and very disrespectful, they have no respect for people who know what they are talking about and the staff think they know it all. I spoke to them about certain things (which I donāt want to be recognised by) and the way they spoke to me was incredibly disrespectful and I would avoid here unless you want to have an argument or be disrespected
