    Its a shame how the policy has been forced and ther are no policy say you have to pay half of the fee when you cancel it dont get me wrong staff is lovley well the one i who served me and done my hair she was very good but no customer loyalty or nothing sspend over 2 k just under a year still no consideration told that my mother was in hospital never cancelled any point before still charged £35 and i am sure they have charged £25 pound off cancellation sorry this review had to be done if ther was an option to not give a star i would not

    The appointment cancellation fee thing at this place is absurd. People live busy lives and not everyone has hair appointments at the top of their priority list unfortunately. Cancellations are not helpful/ideal for any business but they are bound to happen and most businesses understand that, but this place has the audacity to slap you with a £25 fine. No customer books appointment willing with the intention of cancelling later, they have took the time to call up and make a booking, there’s no fun in doing that (unless you’re extremely weird and get a kick from booking random appointments at salons). The logic in this strategy is beyond mind-boggling. You are willing to lose a customer who books appointment every month and spends £60-75 (£720 a year) for the sake of one-off £25. Even if the customer cancelled 5 times a year, you would still make more revenue as a result of customer retention. Your way of maximising your booking is flawed and will not work with the chaotic lifestyles of modern consumers (unless your target demographic is ONLY the ‘elderly’, and I say this with no disrespect) - I hope you find better ways and adapt for the sake of long term stability. Tip: if you really want to avoid some people from cancelling appointments...ask customer's EVERY TIME they book an appointment who they would look like to have as their hair stylist or use your initiative to book with the stylist who they have been seeing for the past few months or simply inform if they’re not available for the requested appointment date. This is more crucial for the business than customer, especially in your case! Had this been asked, I would not have booked the appointment in the first place as I would have known my stylist does not work on my requested appointment date and instead could have booked on a different date. Note: I was told during one of my appointments that my preferred stylist works all business working days, that clearly was not the case or has changed since my last appointment but as a customer I have no way of knowing that unless you tell me. And above all, most of your hair stylists are not up to great standards to even consider in the slightest any such policy. I found a decent hair stylists after trying two other of your stylists. P.S. Shout out to Perry, friendly and does quite a good job on fades :) unfortunately won’t be seeing again due to your companies behaviour but wish you well. *EDIT: Response to owners comment below: Your policy is an all-year round policy, not just for Christmas. The appointment was made under 24 hours before the appointment, I did not cancel the appointment, I called up to double check as I was getting ready to make my way, and to my disappointment the lady on the call said it was booked with someone I previously received poor haircut from - no one in their right mind would want to repeat the experience and hence why I asked to re-book but the lady said I'd be fined which resulted in not just a cancellation but a loss of a customer. Only an imbecile would walk in and pay a £25 fine to a salon as a result of company's poor booking process and alienating behaviour when there's dozen other places. Typical of small businesses; fail to acknowledge flaws in their own procedures even when highlighted by customers.*
