Rude Staff & Awful groom (DO NOT TAKE A LONG HAIRED DOG HERE) To sum it up, they have maimed by formerly Long Haired Dachshund. He now looks like he's off to basic training at Lympstone. His former locks have been hacked away, and he now looks like a sheep. (see photo, poor chap!) My wife asked for a short haircut but keep it looking long. Not shaved all over. She actually specified for him not to be shaved more than once. This brief clearly fell on deaf ears... Who shaves a long haired dog? I mean, seriously? To add insult to injury, she was made to pay for this abomination and then when I called to question the series of events that came before the shaving; the staff member told me my wife asked for it! Which is a complete fabrication! Why would she! I am appalled at the haircut, as anyone who has seen a long-haired dachshund would not think this is acceptable. I would have thought they would have exercised some professional judgement. Clearly not! I now have a sheep instead of a dog and am very disappointed. I am also frustrated at the rude way my wife was treated. We got stopped 3 times on the sea wall and were asked... 'What is he' clearly an unidentifiable species with his Adore a Dog groom. I am now the proud owner of a Red Panda/Sheep That being said, I highly recommend these guys if you have any sheep you need to be done before the summer, but at £50 a go, there are probably cheaper routes to maintain your flock. Thanks again!
