    Good security and lighting. Hardcore ground (tarmac would be nice but at least it doesn't flood!). Onsite toilet, though often runs out of loo paper and soap. Availability of electricity and water would be ideal, but overall it's a well run site.

    AVOID! AVOID! AVOID AT ALL COSTS! The proprietor of Additional Self Storage knowingly rented to me a unit that had severe underground seepage problems. The bottom seams had rusted out (picture below) and groundwater was rising through the floor bolt holes. Despite repeated complaints, the proprietor assured me that it was impossible for these units to leak. When the unit was cleared, the movers said they had never seen so much water/moisture/mildew damage in decades of clearing storage units. When I tried to get insurance information from the proprietor, I was informed that the negligence clause grants him immunity from any damage to goods stored in his units and in essence, he has no responsibility for the structural integrity of these units. The first picture below is of a bookcase stored in my bungalow, the second is of its twin stored in Additional Self Storage. A professional photographer took 400 pictures of the damage done to my belongings, and so far I have spent more than hundred hours cleaning up the mould and mildew, and will no doubt spend several hundred hours more.
