Absolute gem of a place. Tried the non veg thali and found every single item to be authentic and 10/10 in taste. Service was top notch as well with even the owner checking up on us. Highly Recommended for those who are looking for an authentic Bengali food experience.

Food was okay and not that Great. This is my fourth time in this restaurant. Maybe next time we will try something else. Some parts of the fish had gone bad and had a very bad taste, maybe because it was frozen for a very long time, but never mind. The portion of the curry with the fish is really very small. I request the owner to check and ask himself this question. Everything else was okay. Maybe next time you guys will improve and we can have a great Dinner again. But I would rather spend £40 in an Italian or French Restaurant as the Curry was not that Good. There were 4 people perhaps from Kolkata or from West Bengal in the Restaurant but nobody greeted us nor ask anything about our experience. I am from Mumbai, India and lived quiet a while in Kolkata and I know the Bengali Culture very well, but this time it was a bad experience. Hopefully I will find a True Bengali Cuisine in the future in this Berkshire Region.

A good authentic Bengali restaurant located 3 to 4 km is away from Reading Station. The restaurant space is quite good. It can accommodate 20 to 25 people. The quality years of the food is very good. We tried chicken Thali and fish Thali and both was up to the mark. It’s quite authentic- vegetarian Dal is a must try.

Staying away from kolkata, sometimes make you a bit nostalgic about missing out on all the street food/bengali home food that kolkata represents and I was one of the many who have been searching a lot for it... Adda hut is one such authentic bengali restaurant which I discovered a bit late inspite of it being quite close to my house, but a restaurant that I would definitely recommend for anyone who is missing bengali food in and around London. Must try would be their fish fry, radhaballavi, cholar daal, bhetki paturi, mishti doi. I have tried the fish thali and I would definitely vouch for it all day. The owners and staff were really very cordial and helpful. I am sure to come here on many more occassions with friends and family.
