I have been a patient of Anna's for many years. Not only does she do acupuncture; but treats the whole person, using the wisdom of ancient Chinese medicine and modern knowledge of lifestyle. Thus the mind and the whole body is treated. I don't view acupuncture as a quick fix, more a way of maintain a body balance. Over the years I have been treated for repetitive strains and my life style has been greatly improved. Anna is very special being intuitive, patient sensitive and wise.

I saw Anna at 40 weeks, 7 days pregnant with my second baby for acupuncture to encourage labor (which occurred later that evening, so it was definitely a great success!). I was feeling quite down, frustrated by the delay in the arrival of my second baby and feeling somewhat physically defeated. Anna and I talked a lot during the session about the power of positivity and the connection between mind and body, and I left feeling really positive, empowered to deliver this baby, naturally, and excited to meet my new baby. I would thoroughly recommend Anna as an accupunturist, esp for labor induction, and as a positive alternative to traditional medical techniques (without being a hippy 😉). I would definitely see her again.

I have suffered with terrible pains, sickness, diarrhoea and a temperature during my monthly menstrual cycle for the last 16 years. I didn’t want to take tablets for the rest of my life so I set about finding an alternative route. After trying a few different methods including radically changing my diet after testing for food allergies, a chance conversation led me to Acupuncture treatment from Anna. It has always been something that has intrigued me; I couldn’t understand why sticking pins in your body could help. To be honest, I still can’t rationalise it but I know it works. Not only has my sickness, diarrhoea, temperature and almost all of my pains completely gone from my monthly menstrual cycle my whole life has been enhanced, I look at life more clearly, I am more positive and happy. I know that I have stumbled across something amazing that will always be part of my life.

I love the fact she is a holistic practitioner ....she really listened to my specific story and gave me not only a physical acupuncture treament but so much advice and guidance for small but powerful lifestyle changes to help me on my path to better health and the change I was seeking (I am looking to get my body and mind into alignment to welcome an addition to our family). There are not many times in life that you go to a health practioner and in the first session come away feeling like you are changed for the better. I cannot recommend Anna highly enough and have already mentioned her to anyone looking to improve their health, energy levels or balance and of course to tackle specific issues (such as conception or hormonal balance etc.).
