I've recently had a Cortisone injection in my hip and can't recommend Active Healthcare Sheffield enough. I've suffered for the past 2 to 3 years but this last year has been really bad. I asked my doctor if steroids would help and he said flat out, No. I eventually contacted Active and booked an appointment. I was talked through the procedure and told that it might work but there were no guarantees as each person is different. I decided to go ahead. After 3 days I could feel a difference. After a week there is a massive reduction in pain. Thank you Active.

I made a 216 mile round trip to get an ultrasound guided corticosteroid injection into my frozen right shoulder. The procedure was carried out by Chris anthe red he was excellent in every aspect. He explained everything, carried out a comprehensive medical history check and during the procedure he kept me fully in the loop with info on what was happening. Why did I travel over 200 miles ? Well the practice came highly recommend by my own Osteopath and secondly, BMI or Nuffield trust wanted to charge over £1200 and £700 more for the exact same procedure. I would highly recommend the practice and will have no hesitation in going again if I needed to.
