Another 'charity scam company'. I invested with a good heart to sponsor a child - I received nothing back despite paying £30 a month. After 3 months I cancelled. They then came back and said they had 'administration' problems and would I like to continue?! Having worked extensively in Africa - I imagine all that money is being pocketed or paying for advertising and 'the charity' driving around in new Land Cruisers. I am one for charity by nature - but this is one to avoid.

I have had a regular payment plan with Action Aid for 30 years paying in just £20 a month. In that time they have kept me informed regarding projects, etc. However, I have just cancelled with a heavy heart my direct debit for 1 main reason: 30%of funding is dedicated to admin and fund raising. (To do with mailshots, chuggers, etc).
