It's not every day you wake up, realising that you need a crane to move something heavy from A to B. In my case I decided to buy a large heavy pizza oven and my contractors couldn't find a solution to move it. A quick call to Nathan at ACTA, and within no time he arrives with a smile on his face, a positive attitude, and an absolutely massive crane. We have used ACTA a couple of times now, once for a swim spa move and the second time to move a canine hydrotherapy pool and treadmill for my wife's business. Both times the service was incredible, the swim spa had to be craned across our garage from the road and Nathan put it down gently on the base we created, the tip about putting it on bags of ice was useful as it allowed us to do some fine manoeuvres when putting it into it's final position. The second time we used ACTA the treadmill was fairly straight forward, however the hydrotherapy pool would only go into the building on it's side, there was literally 2cm clearance to get it through the door on it's side. Nathan managed to get it tipped whilst coming off the crane and then into the door way, where we slid it through on plastic sheets. The time from the crane arriving to the treadmill and the pool were into the building was less than 30 minutes and the whole process removed a lot of stress out of what would have been a nightmare to move both bits of kit any other way. Thank you ACTA!

LOOK NO FURTHER! Nathan is an absolute hero. I found him on Google and after I had spoken to him, I knew I was in the best hands. He runs this business himself, he genuinely cares, he’s kind, extremely knowledgeable and he operates that humongous crane with absolutely no fuss whatsoever. Organised hire with Nathan at 10pm the night before and Dennis was round by 11:00am the next day. Moved 6 x Ton gravel bags from front garden to back over the neighbors fence. Great job and even better service. Dennis even helped spread the gravel with the help of the crane and assisted shoveling gravel off my drive that had been spilt by the gravel company. If I ever need a crane again I'd use these guys.

Absolutely fantastic customer service! I had a grooming pod delivered from Dorset to South Yorkshire. Nathan was in constant communication with me throughout the whole process. He arranged the collection of the pod directly with Wetpets and delivered it to me on a day that suited my work schedule. Nathan and Dennis were amazing on delivery day, craning the pod over my house and manually rolling it into position. I highly recommend ACTA crane hire.
