Out of town pilot looking for a adventure. ACS was absolutely awesome to deal with. Jenny starts the visit with professionalism and inviting smile. Planes are in good shape and the instructors are knowledge and easy going. If you are looking to get your licence best place to train.

Simply incredible, Aidan my instructor was lovely, he talked in great detail all the pre flight checklist and once in the air he went into great detail explaining the different aspects of controls and even the physics behind them. Atmosphere around ACS is friendly and I have no doubt I'll apply there.

Contacted ACS inquiring about doing a modular ATPL course. Despite a number of emails, after the initial "hello" standard response, I never received anything back. This is pretty a-typical of what I am finding with most flight schools. They largely seem to deliver poor customer experience, and incapable of focusing on any student other than those directly in front of them. This is a shame, as a modular ATPL is a sizeable investment, so I just assume that ACS did not want my investment. Very very poor!

Paid them a visit at the end of September for my English Language Proficiency Test. Everything went extremely smooth and quick, after driving for 5 hours all the way up to Perth I only started realising I arrived at my destination when the test was already complete. I got the result pretty quick and went for both certificates for UK and EASA. I should add Andrew (the coordinator of the test) was very helpful throughout, booking the slot, getting that second certificate and as well gave me to the extent possible a little tour around. Moreover, seeing how well-organised it was and looked I shortlisted ACS for my commercial training when the time will come.

Great place to learn to fly or even just come by and help pilots have some airtime by splitting the cost of rental and fuel in exchange for absolutely stunning views of Scotland from above! Lovely staff as well! I highly recommend!
