Poor service. Having to send multiple online requests to get the right repeat prescription because they either prescribed the wrong medication or have marked the request as complete without actioning it.

10 days after appointment and still no prescription for medication or referral! Still in pain had no scans or xrays and feel like it's more serious than a trip to physiotherapy. Absolute joke! I must wait for their eventual treatment in their own time whilst things could be getting worse

Edit: After speaking to a friend who is a GP elsewhere, I now understand the reason that PATCHS does not allow submission outside practice hours. It would be useful if the Acorn Medical practice made these reasons clear on the website. The GPs themselves are very good.

I left this practice a while ago as I wasn’t happy but my children are still with them. My daughter has needed 2 appointments in the last month and within a couple of hours of a patch’s request I have not only had a phone call but a face to face appointment for her. Things have definitely changed from how they used to be. The receptionists are so friendly and polite and the doctors extremely helpful. Very impressed!!

Avoid this surgery at every cost they are the worst surgery in the area,especially if you have mental health issues,they treat you bad,the main doctor soman is biased against people with mental health I have always had run ins especially regarding medication instead of making things easier they make it harder for you,the practice manager is very rude and the staff also very rude not helpful

My experience of the practice has been excellent. The practice manager, Sharon, is very kind, attentive and fast to act. Dr Soman is extremely committed and sensitive to the needs of his patients. My father was under his care for years and whenever he needed help Dr Soman was on hand the very same day. I can't praise this practice highly enough.

One of the best GP surgeries around. With care and attention. I know the NHS is in crisis and I have used other practices that’s when you really understand how good this practice is. I like the face this surgery has embraced new technology for those that want you use to contact the surgery/Doctors. Also combined with the NHS app you can easily reorder prescriptions. Thanks for doing a great job and please don’t slack!
