Having visited in August 2021 when mask restriction became at the customers descretion your greeted with you must wear a mask from the lady, not a hello or welcome. I explained I was exempt, she ignored this and said its OK I have masks here you can wear. I repeated "I am exempt" . She requested to see proof of a land yard before allowing me any further. Having shown her my land yard and autism alert card (of which she had no legal right to challenge) we were allowed 15 minutes to look around. Starting to move around the shop we get shouted at for going the wrong way. I fully understand that some people are cautious, however this left a very sour situation. Of which I won't be returning in a hurry. There are plenty of much more welcoming antique shops in the maltings who know their legal duties and the equality act as shop owners. Avoid if you have any form of disability!

Complete waste of time! I visited this shop during normal opening hours and was told to come back 30 mins later because they were in the middle of an appointment with a dealer. We returned just over 30 mins later to then by told by an incredibly rude woman that they were still closed and couldn’t tell me when to come back. I asked if it was best to phone ahead for future visits and she said it wouldn’t make a difference. Terrible customer service, horribly rude woman. What a wasted journey, will never revisit (doesn’t seem much point if you never know when you can actually go in!!!).
