For coach hires, we require a 10% non-refundable deposit at the time of booking. If you cancel within 14 days of the hire date, you will be charged an additional 50% of the total hire cost. If you cancel within 48 hours of the hire date, you will be charged the full hire cost. For minibus hires, we require a 20% non-refundable deposit at the time of booking. If you cancel within 7 days of the hire date, you will be charged an additional 50% of the total hire cost. Just been for a 5 day break in Newquay Cornwall. It started off great with acklams Ben the driver was absolutely brilliant from start to finish. He was always there for everyone with a helping hand and a smile on he's face couldn't falter the man in anyway. We had a trip to St Ives on Wed and the air con on bus broke down Ben tried everything he could to get it fixed but to no avail. That's when Acklam coaches were disgusting in the way they handled the situation they had from the wed till Fri to send either another coach or someone to fix it but no Ben had no other choice to drive us on a 12hr journey home with no air con. It was horrendous. Everyone was sweating red faced blood pressure sky high we all felt ill. There was alot of old people on there who were struggling. Thank you Acklam coaches for turning this into the worst experience of my life I will never ever travel with yous again.
