Had an expensive new fibre glass flat roof fitted as advised by Ben. They blocked the inlet pipe and did not test it. Had very heavy rain and this caused leakages all over and even damaged some of the inner room ceilings causing damp issues etc. Ben told me to claim from my insurance company as the cause was storm damage according to him. This was all caused by poor workmanship which was verified by my insurance company and there was no follow up on the 25 year guarantee I was given. Beware as the after sales service does not exist. Our 80 plus year old roof was in need of complete renewal having suffered recent weather damage. Ben from Ace Roofing and Building was amongst several company's contacted for estimates and was by far the most responsive in providing concise information of our requirements. The workforce led by Jamie arrived regularly on time and keep us informed of the ongoing work and what would be happening next. All works completed comfortably within the time frame advised, even with adverse weather hindering progress at times. We could not be more pleased with finished job. My roof light was jammed open and it started to rain. Ben was not in the area, but because it was an emergency, asked me to send photos and videos of the jammed window. I couldn’t be more pleased with the work performed and the impeccable service provided by Ace Roofing and Building. I was immediately impressed by the way the workmen first introduced themselves to my neighbours informing them of the scheduled works and if they had any questions/concerns. At the start and end of each working day the workmen explained to me what they intend to do and what had been done. Now I can’t rate them better or worse than any other company because I’ve never had roof replaced before but what I can say is you’ll be hard pushed to find tradesmen with such high customer service coupled with excellent workmanship. Do not use. Spent a lot of money on a new roof. First time it rained it started to leak. Sent videos of the issue after several promises to come over and check it out didn’t happen. So much for the 10 year guarantee, it didn’t even last a month the guarantee. In the end I found another roofer who did a better job. If you want verification I can show the WhatsApp chat….
