I never leave bad reviews as I know how it can negatively impact a business however I called to speak with them and was refused a call back with the owner and instead had to deal with his rude wife. Colin, the owner of Ace repair services came to investigate a repair for a broken bed we had purchased from Stollers furniture store. Colin came to our home and looked at the bed and had agreed with us that the bed had not been properly assembled when initially put together. He said he would be ordering parts for the repair and took pictures of the damage. He then said he was really busy and would have a report done for Monday. Today I received a call from Stollers saying they would not be repairing the bed since the damage had reportedly been done from dragging and moving the bed. This is far from the truth. The room in which the bed was in didn’t have room for the bed to be moved (super king sized bed in a small bedroom). Our biggest frustration though was the fact that Colin had been stood next to us for 10 minutes agreeing with everything my partner was pointing out about how poorly it had been assembled, only to then write a report lying about how the damage had happened. Avoid using this company at all costs as they can’t be trusted. Anyone having them assess furniture from Stollers furniture store also be very aware that they make out Colin/ace repair services is an Independent furniture investigator however they are clearly working together to make sure customers are left out of pocket without repairs.
