  We were recommended Ace Party by Casa Hotel and Peak Edge in Chesterfield - we wanted something a bit different for our wedding and oh boy do they deliver! We had a mid-week wedding at Peak Edge and we contacted Joanne and Ace Party with a long list of potential things we were interested in - 3 carnival tables, high striker, lawn games, arcade machines, popcorn machine, casino tables and photobooth. We expected to have to pick one or two things, but Jo came back with an affordable quote that covered everything we had listed for a great price - she had heavily a few things because we had wanted a mixture of things throughout the whole day. She was so friendly but professional and when we first spoke she put my mind completely at ease - she was accommodating and worked around what we wanted, going above and beyond! We messaged back and forth a few times before the day, and on the day she was completely set up and ready before the guests even arrived. The carnival stalls and lawn games were super popular, getting guests having a laugh together and the high striker made for some fantastic photos as people got more and more competitive! We had popcorn during the day for guests and they even made some more for our evening guests which was a huge hit! The arcade machines were set up inside and definitely some nostalgic games on there for every generation. In the evening, we had the casino tables and photobooth. The casino tables were absolutely brilliant! It got even the quietest of guests up and having a go, speaking to other people and having such a laugh. They give out free money to buy in, and at the end of the night the person with the most 'money' won a bottle of fizz! Jo suggested that getting some scratchcards for the team to give out for certain hands usually goes down well - the most anyone won on our scratchcards was about £20 but they definitely added another level of excitement! We also got some chocolate casino chips which were given out at the same time. The photobooth is fantastic too - not only do guests get a print out to keep, a second copy is put into a guest book where they can add in comments and well-wishes. We didn't get a separate guest book, we used this as our guest book instead. We were so impressed as not only did we get the photobook at the end of the night with all the comments to read through, we also got the digital copies on a USB straight away! They made for great viewing and the photos were really good quality so we sent them out to everyone too afterwards as another keepsake! Jo and the whole team were so friendly and engaging with all our guests who all said how amazing the entertainment had been. They were so accommodating to our specific wants and worked closely with the venue so that it all worked seamlessly and smoothly. A massive thank you to Jo and the whole of Ace Party - thank you for making our big day even more memorable and special!!

  Where do we start! We had the most amazing day all thanks to Joanne and her team at Ace Party. We had our wedding in February and still rave about it and wouldn't change a thing. My wife and I are so laid back to the point we booked a function room and let Ace party work their magic and it turned out incredible. We gave her a very basic vision and she turned it into something we will never forget. Then the entertainment we booked, the casino tables, photo mirror, sweets and popcorn. All amazing. All guests commented on how brilliant the casino tables were and the staff that run them. Honestly from the day we met Joanne to our wedding day she couldn't have done enough for us, even to the finest detail of helping with our table plan at the last minute. If I could give this company 10 stars I would. The most professional and fun person/company we have ever dealt with. To say we had a low key wedding in a function room turned out to be the most memorable wedding for most of our guests and its all thanks to Joanne and the Ace Party team.

  Amazing service from start to finish. Balloon arch and 21 numbers made the perfect backdrop for my daughters 21 st birthday “ Instagram wall” Joanne was so helpful, helped with design and excellent service Photo does not do the display any justice - looked so much better in real life

  AVOID *** CHARGED £400 FOR BLURRY PHOTOS AND NO SUPPORT *** we used this company in 2019 for casino tables and this was fab, so decided to hire them again for their PHOTO BOOTH to capture memories of a joint birthday PARTY, DISPOSABLE CAMERA WOULD BE BETTER! The next morning we looked through the ones we did have a they are absolutely awful, really poor quality blurry images, they are blaming the guests and not offering any support,we we're promised 2 albums one for each person, one of which was never received!! Joanne spent most of the event day outside in her van, they have offered to print a set of the same blurry images as compensation, we should have received these anyway for the second birthday person!! 18th birthday party memories are now lost!!... I will be seeking legal advice on the matter... We haven't declined any reprints we have just said we should have been given these as part of the original agreement and that we don't want reprints of the blurry photos. The attendant who was there should have rectified the issues with the focus and blurry images wouldn't have been an issue, i have an appointment with a solicitor later this week so we will see where it goes from here. Trading standards will also be contacted

  I spoke to Joanne at the last minute regarding hiring the Magic Mirror something that I didn't know about. She told precisely what it was and how it worked and the cost. We communicated throughout the whole time before the event. On the day off the party Tim our photographer arrived well before the arranged time to set everything up and once again he told myself and my daughter exactly what was happening and he was wonderful with my 6 year old grandson. The party started at at 7.30 and Tim was ready for action. He was patient and on the job the whole time and very good with all my guests nothing was too much trouble for him. I truly recommend Ace Party and I will be using them again and so will my guests. A job well done Thank you to Joanne for putting my mind at rest and to Tim for making the experience worthwhile.   We had a light up 40, balloon arch & arcade games from Ace Party for my husband’s 40th birthday. Joanne was so helpful through the whole process & the items on the night were totally brilliant! Everyone loved the arcade games & had tournaments in the middle of the party! Thanks again Joanne! Definitely booking with Ace Party again!!
