I am disgusted to find out that my very ill grandmother came for dialysis on Friday and one of the nurses hadn’t put the needles in her arm properly and didn’t drain the 3 L that were suppose to be drained but took a 1/2 L. As she has been very ill in the past due to not being given dialysis when she was in need of it, I have now found out the people who are paid to take care of her have now left her in pain over the weekend and their solution was “ring Burnley on Saturday and see if they have a bed for you but they may not”. The person who made the mistake should have done it themselves since it was their mistake to rectify. In future train staff properly so that they know how to connect a dialysis machine to a patient.
