Acclaim have just completed work on replacing the flat roof of an ex-council house that I rent out in docklands which was in a terrible state (the surveyor said it was the worst roof he had ever seen having a vast bed of water lying under the surface). After having contacted a number of possible contractors (one who wanted to charge me £500 just to come and assess the roof and provide a quote) most of whom did not get back to me at all, a rep from Acclaim and a surveyor from Bauder (the roofing material provider) arrived promptly, completed their survey and I had a quote in my hands within a few days. I was told the work could start within a week of me paying my deposit and everything happened as promised, with the scaffolding being erected, the materials arriving and the roof being replaced within a week of the promised start date. In addition, I was provided with regular updates with photos of progress on a daily basis. I went down to the house to see the work on the final day and was taken up on to the roof to inspect everything which looked great. The work also comes with a 15 year guarantee so I don't expect to have issues with this roof again now. These guys were certainly not the cheapest option but it does show that you get what you pay for as I really can't fault Acclaim or Bauder and can't recommend them enough. I've attached some before and after photos of the work.
