Whatever you do don't try and buy a house off Accent Housing or their subsidiary Homemade Homes. My ex partner made an offer on a 75% ownership house on August 6th 2022. Since then the company have done absolutely nothing to move it forward. They have been obstructive and rude, ignored emails and correspondence even from solicitors, come up with absurd reasons the sale can't go through then not acted on them. Literally nothing has been done in six months. it makes utterly no sense why they wouldn't want to sell a property other than due to their complete and utter incompetence. My ex partner who has recently survived cancer has now lost out on her mortgage offer and has had to be signed off work due to the stress this has caused and is now without a property.

Think it's a bad place to live? Try an even worse place to work, incredibly toxic with managers I wouldn't trust to run a bath. No wonder tenants get annoyed, increasing rent and doing nothing (and now even less) repairs responsibility. Absolutely fantastic Accent, place is going down the toilet real fast.

There maintenance team are shockingly poor . Missed appointments, Wrong type of contractors arriving when they do arrive . They seem to think you can take time off work to sit around waiting and hoping they are going to turn up . Been waiting nearly six months for a radiator to be fit only to be told by contractor to use my oven . Still waiting..............
