We couldn't be happier with the service provided at Academy Day Nursery. Our child has made tremendous progress in their reading and writing skills since staring. Plus, they offer an amazing variety of activities to keep the children busy. It can sometimes be a struggle to get him to leave because he simply adores the staff. 5 Stars.

The nursery used to be a very good place to send your child, however the owner of the nursery leaves a nasty taste to your mouth. On the 19/02/19 Ofsted came over in the morning when all the parents where dropping their kids off. They were asking questions which felt a bit strange but we felt like it was nothing to worry about and about 2 hours or so later the nursery called and asked all parents to come pick up their kids due to a staffing issue, when we went to pick our child up the owner said she has decided to close the nursery until further notice but she refused to give a reason for the closure and she promised to give all parents a call to explain. All the parents paid their fees a month in advance and shutting the nursery for whatever reason without an explanation towards the end of the month when some people may not have money to get their child to a new nursery is very unprofessional and very inconvenient for all the parents especially those like us who have to work. We tried to get hold of her and she was nowhere to be found and she didn't explain if and when we will be getting out deposits and the rest of the month's fees back, no phone call and no letters sent to give us an understanding of what is happening. If this nursery reopens I will not be taking my child there because I can not trust the person running it as a business person and as someone who should care for your kids.
