Since my childhood, my only dream has been to fly, and Academy Aviation made that dream come true. When I had lost hope, they were always by my side, providing me with so much supports. I had the best days I have ever had during my training. For me, the atmosphere is so important, and Academy Aviation has the best atmosphere compared to many other schools. It is the best flight school in the UK with very professional instructors and an extremely friendly atmosphere. The school provides simulators for free to their students, and the ground schools are very helpful. They have different types of aircraft, so you can choose whichever works best for you. Almost all their students are complete their trainings with minimal hours and maximum knowledge. I am very happy that I completed my PPL training at Academy Aviation. I recommend it to everyone who wants to learn how to fly. A huge thanks to Eddie and my instructor, Gavin. They made me a good pilot who could handle any situation. Academy Aviation is not a school after the money, as flying is their passion, not just a business. They are training the best pilots in the UK. Again, thanks to Eddie, Gavin, Aria, Terry, and Peter for all of their help. I am very happy with the progress they have helped me make in my passion.

Me and my son took a one hour trial flying experience with Gavin, it was an amazing experience , Gavin was so professional by clearly explaining all the instruments. On the ground, we met Eddie, a lovely captain who provided us with lot of information and knowledge regarding aviation. We definitely will fly again with them. Highly recommended. They are the best around✈️✈️✈️✈️✈️

Academy Aviation is foremost an amazing flight training school (with genuinely awesome instructors), but it also holds its own as a flying club too. Having first obtained my PPL 15 years ago at a different school, I had no clue what to do with it and my flying petered out to the point where my licence lapsed and I never renewed it. What a waste! During lockdown I decided to start up again but was conscious to only learn in a place with a community where I could make co-pilot buddies to fly with. Academy is that place! We have school fly outs (last one to Le Touquet in France), dinners together, BBQs at the airfield, a WhatsApp chat so you can interact with other Pilots at the school. You can get involved as much or as little as you like, thats the beauty of Academy :)

By Far the best flying school around, they give you the time that you need and are passionate about flying. The knowledge they share is priceless it’s not just about flying. The ground work help offered here is second to none. Eddie and Gavin the two instructors are the nicest people around but when it comes to training they take it seriously as they don’t want to waste your money or your time. Which is what you should expect from a flying school. Flying a plane is the easy part but without the right support it’s pointless. To be a good pilot you must have an understanding of what you have to do it different situations and react to it, and they teach you this here. Money well spent and I wouldn’t recommend anywhere else, this place feels like home
