I recently attended the Super Saturday wellbeing day with Absolute Yoga and Pilates. The day included a Pilates class with Pauline, a Barre class with Adriana, and a Quartz Crystal singing bowl sound healing experience with Adriana. Firstly was Paulines Pilates class. This class was a FANTASTIC focus on my core, and really set the tone for the day of getting in tune with your body and how it moves. Pauline explains everything thoroughly and always gives options for different abilities, so you never feel pressured to go above what is right for you! Secondly was the Barre Pilates class. Anyone who has a class with Adriana experiences her infectious energy. She encourages everyone with her smile and really helps you get through the burn that you will feel with this class! Lastly was the Singing bowls. Just wow. The sound experience was all-encompassing. Adriana started with some gentle Yoga poses whilst introducing the sounds of the bowls. The flow was gentle and allowed you to focus on the sound body experience. You then moved to the floor to allow yourself to relax and fully embrace the power that these bowls can make. The sound completely takes over your senses and makes you feel like you could be floating through the air. It allows your head to calm and purely focus on the sounds around you. I struggle with focus and often find my mind wandering, but in this class you couldn't help but solely focus on the sound surrounding you. It was an experience that I think all agreed felt transcendent! The whole day had a wonderful flow and left me feeling elevated, cleansed and ready for whatever was to come my way. It is safe to say that the Yoga and Pilates team have immense knowledge and passion for what they do - I genuinley couldn't recommend them enough!

I have been attending Wendy's Tuesday evening Pilates Class for a few months now and I can honestly say that I have felt huge benefits to my physical flexibility and strength as well as a great sense of well being. Wendy is a great teacher and paces the sessions accordingly giving variations for all abilities. I particularly appreciate the fact that the class is not pretentious at all and that I feel very comfortable. Thanks you.

Cannot recommend Absolute Yoga and Pilates enough - thanks to my lovely teacher Charlotte for adapting every lesson plan to fit my pregnancy. It is so nice to be have been able to continue yoga practice during pregnancy and you guys have made this possible. The Thursday evening sessions flow so well and is the best class I have been to. I love that there is a new focus every week and connects you to your inner self, along with having a good workout. Everything is thought of, from the music to the relaxing scents of the room. Great communication and easy to book. Can't wait to get back to face to face sessions.

I have really enjoyed the Tai Chi course and I am looking forward to continuing on the next course. Debbie is an amazing teacher. She explains and models the moves and technique at a perfect pace. The flow of moves is a great way to start your Sunday, a very chilled and relaxing session but still feeling like you’ve had a good stretch and are then ready to face the day! Highly recommended.

Over the past few years I've completed many courses and workshops with Absolute Yoga & Pilates and I've enjoyed all of them. I don't usually stick with things this long, but there is such a varied program of classes I've never got itchy feet! The teachers are all friendly and change up their routines regularly so you never get bored. The online live and recorded classes during COVID have been an absolute life-saver and the COVID safe measures for the in-person classes are impeccable.

Adriana's Pilates - the essential poses is ideal for anyone wanting to learn or get strong post op or injury. Her teaching style is clear and encouraging and she pitches the poses based on your own ability. You feel great after a work out and posture and stamina improve enormously.

Introduction to yoga was just that, which was exactly what I wanted. A 4 week course to try out yoga and see if it suits you. Pauline is an excellent tutor, ensuring that we were going at our own pace and offering adjusted positions if we couldn't quite get into the full pose. Pauline is very friendly and welcoming to all creating a good atmosphere in the class. I'm looking forward to going to the next course, Hatha yoga 1.
