My mate told me about Absolute windows and he recommended them to me, so I gave them a call and he was so right, they’re much cheaper than other window fitters, some of whom are exceptionally greedy.. But not Absolute Windows, the lady I spoke to on the phone was so well-mannered and the two guys who came to fit the window, Neil and Jake were very professional, fast and pleasant…. Excellent service from time of booking appointment to the installation of the windows today . Ann in the office arranged the first appointment and was extremely helpful, Chris who came to carry out the estimate and the surveyor Ashley were both professional and knowledgable. Stuart and Jason who installed the windows today are brilliant, excellent workmanship, they worked non stop despite the horrendous rain, friendly and nothing was too much in trouble.We will not hesitate to recommend Absolute Windows, thank you. Would definitely recommend, have used many years ago, and this is our 2nd time, Stuart and Jay fitted the door and windows, already very impressed, they cleaned up and used sheets to protect carpet, very quickly fitted and polite, already can tell the difference its quiter and I know we will feel the benefit this winter has our old door and windows had failed and were very badly fitted by the building company that built the house, also Anne was was very polite and afficient when we talked on the phone, Thank you once again. Firstly I want to start with the one and only positive, and that is Stuart and Jay the fitters, they are a credit to the company and after 2yrs of nothing but trouble with our bifold doors we were finally sent these 2 lads who are amazing, and certainly know what they're dong! As for the negatives... From day one of having our bifold doors fitted they have not been right, every time the weather changes they swell and don't shut. Despite being told prior to buying that they were going to be fitted in a south facing position having full sun on them all day we were still told that the upvc ones would be fine, 2 years later and every few months they have to send someone out to amend them due to the swelling which is ridiculous! The company obviously know these door are a problem because apparently they don't even fit the upvc ones anymore! On top of this we also had a front door fitted at the same time, which you could actually see daylight through and we had to put draft excluder tape all down the inside to stop the draft! Stuart and Jay came out last week and could tell they were badly fitted just by looking at them, they completely refitted both the bifold doors and the front door and so far (touch wood) they have been great. If you really have to buy your doors and windows from here then I would definitely recommend that you have Stuart and Jay to fit them. Service: General door installation

Very mixed feelings From my first quite I had problems as the sales man massively under quoted and as the fitting date drew close after wks of waiting I was told I had to pay more , with a decorator booked I had no choice . They left the surrounding plaster work in a terrible mess but did come back swiftly to repair Then fast forward 3 yrs the door is still faulty , it doesn't lock then it does then it doesn't and this is constant I've had several workmen here to try and fix it , each one saying it's a diff thing , sometimes they come the following day sometimes it's wks . But the workmen are very polite and helpful when they are here. I've had two company directors here to see the door , again polite , but the door still isn't locking . I have had a new locking system , the lock checked the hinges altered , but still it won't lock . I was told not to worry as no one will get in !! Not the point as the door isn't fit for.purpose . I'm sad leaving this review as Ann in the office and the workmen are lovely and as a gd will gesture they have renewed some guttering for me . But I paid a lot of money for this door and not being able to lock and secure my property when I leave or go to bed isn't exceptable and I'm sure if it was a directors door it would have been rectified by now !!! I did leave Jamie a message on the 30th May asking for the door to be sorted but I haven't had a reply yet !! No matter how often I say I need the door sorting they don't seem to have any interest in doing this , I felt like they have had their money and I'm being a nuisance keep asking for a door that works !! But not a lot to ask for as I have paid in full and on time Service: General door installation
