I have worked with other private vocal coaches in the past but Alicia has been the best by far. My confidence and technique improved dramatically when I started, during the pandemic, and I’m constantly learning and improving as time goes on. Alicia ensures that the lessons are tailored to your style and interests so that you can work towards your personal goals; I personally like that the lessons are always structured (each lesson contains warm ups, technical activities, performing part of a song and warm downs). One of the main reasons I’ve found the lessons so enjoyable is that Alicia ensures you feel comfortable (both mentally and vocally). She’s very encouraging and patient and she regularly checks that you’re not straining your voice or in any discomfort when singing. I’ve also have studied some guitar lessons which follow a similar structure to the vocal ones. I can’t recommend Alicia enough!

I was never confident with using my voice in front of others but Alicia was very understanding and helped me gain the courage to sing to her and other people. I quickly became comfortable with things I was worried about before and she taught me so many things about my voice and how to use it! I loved every lesson!
