Abshot estate agents weren’t directly working for us, they were actually the agents for the sellers of the house which we bought. This is the first time I’ve ever encountered estate agent envy! By the time we eventually moved into our lovely new home, I felt like I wanted to be paying Abshots the commission instead of handing it over to the estate agents who we actually instructed to sell our property. From the very start everyone at Abshots was friendly, approachable, professional and totally in our corner - paying client or not. Jack literally went out of his way several times to show us around, so we could measure up and plan where to put our furniture (luckily it was a vacant property). He was always so obliging, friendly and smiling. Amy Duce is outstanding. I’m convinced it’s solely down to her efforts that our house sale went through as quickly as it did. Everyone else (the people supposedly working on our behalf) appeared complacent and happy to drag their heels, but Amy was always there chivvying them up, asking for updates and generally not allowing them sit on their hands, exactly what you need when you are anxious about whether the sale of your property will ever get to the completion stage, especially in the present climate where so many sales fall through. Amy set up a WhatsApp group with me, and contacted me even on her days off or late into the evening if there was anything she knew I would want to be informed of, as the sellers of the home we bought were living outside the UK and in a very different time zone. Amy was more than happy to contact them and us way past normal office hours. She was always positive, reassuring and happy to help, in fact she did much more to ensure my house sale went through as smoothly and quickly as possible than my own estate agents ever did. I really couldn’t recommend this company enough. We have no plans to move house ever again, but if we did I wouldn’t put my house on the market with anybody else, and I have absolutely no hesitation in recommending them to anyone who’s considering selling their property. We will always be extremely grateful for all the hard work, commitment, never ending patience and understanding they showed us. Remember, they weren’t even directly working for us or being paid by us! That’s phenomenal service. Thank you Jack, Amy and the rest of the team, Paul and I wish you all nothing but good luck and good fortune for the future.

Jack and team were great to work with. Jack completed some hard negotiations on our behalf that resulted in full asking price being achieved. However, our big thanks goes to Amy at Abshot Estates who ran the chat group and was always on hand to answer our questions and listen to our woes. Amy deserves huge recognition from the start to end of the sale. This is now the second time we have used Abshot Estates and I will certainly use them again in the future. Marketing brochure is also spot on and still one of best around the area.

Jack and his team at Abshot Estates are for me by far the best agents in the area. As an ex agent myself, I tend not to like estate agents, their selling techniques and over the top valuations backed with false promises for the sole purpose of getting your property on their books. Our property was very unusual and the valuation a touch tricky. Jack with his exceptional market knowledge knew this and discussed the various options for the marketing. There were no promises, no criticism of other agents just an honest market appraisal and a genuine desire to do what he's hoping to be paid to do, to get a good price for us as vendors and to manage the marketing and sale in a professional and honest manner. And yes, they delivered and were exceptional in every aspect from communications through to the process of taking us through to exchange. They achieved more than 10% above what other agents suggested, they marketed the property brilliantly with fantastic pictures and information and most importantly, they were very humble and respectful in their approach throughout the whole process. They're also genuine and do care about what they're doing which is again a very good point. Agency has changed now and the need for high street offices has gone as the online property portals are where the clients are found and Abshot Estates do compete with the corporate and large independent agencies in this area. They are the only agents I would recommend and I can't praise them enough, hence my long winded feedback. I wish them all the success they ca get as it's thoroughly deserved!
