This place is one of the most important queer venues in London and we all long for it to re-open soon. Above The Stag is a great place to go if you want to watch theatre, live music, or just have a drink. They have other events such as karaoke also. The drinks menu is fairly good with prices as you would expect. I would love to see more beers on tap however. The toilets are clean and accessible. There are 2 performance areas which make this a great space for many various events. Plus they added a terraced area which is amazing of an evening.

I love the place but the seating is incredibly narrow and uncomfortable as a result - no shoulder room (I'm not big either). I know money is tight for you but it's really putting me off going so much.

It is the best LGBT venue in London but is not just a « gay « venue , the shows and performances are brilliant ! Thé Cabaret bar is an intimate performance area, with a tremendous amount of variety.

I came with friends to see Pleasure Garden on the 2nd preview night! I know that your standard is always very high and I was certainly not let down on this occasion. I was delighted to see that several recent graduates of the RAM were in the cast. I am a Patron of the RAM and have usually seen ex RAM students during their study year. Because of the lockdown that was not the case this time however Sam Baumal and Jonathan Harlaw, were up to the usual standard. Sam in particular, had a lovely voice. Jay Worley did not perform on the evening I was there. Please pass on my very best wishes to all of the cast, musicians and staff. As always an extremely enjoyable evening. When I come again, is it worth coming early to get a programme autographed by the cast. I like to get away promptly after the show as I have to get back to Brighton (unless I can find someone to put me up for the night!) Please feel free to use as much as you like of this message in your publicity although I have already submitted a couple of reviews following my visit. Best wishes and Love Ian Scott

We came to see Tommy on Top and enjoyed a pre show drink. Staff were very helpful and even looked after one of the party's suitcase. Great show as well and felt very safe during these COVID times.

My friends and I were so well looked after yesterday. Lovely atmosphere, very comfortable and much more pleasant than Soho in the current climate. Very happy to support a smaller (and LGBTQ+) venue. Highly recommend
