A friend took their laptop as there was a problem with the power button and was told it needed a new battery. This was not in fact the case and they were charged for it anyway. I had a look and discovered there was some damage to a ribbon cable which I managed to source from AliExpress for less than £3.

Thought I’d pop in to see how much for a new charge port for my iPhone. The lady said “we don’t do those but I can usually fix them within a minute or two”. Asked when I could pop in, she said she could do it now, with that I handed over phone and within a minute it was returned, working and she wouldn’t take a penny for it. Very well impressed and know where to go for electronics issues in future.

These guys are brilliant. They helped sort out a laptop problem. They didn't choose the easy, more expensive option of replacing parts. I offered to pay more because I knew they had spent additional time cleaning the laptop but they wouldn't take it. That is a sign of a reputable, honest business and I would thoroughly recommend Ability Systems to anyone who needs good honest advice and work at a very reasonable price.
