    Hired Billy for a few days. Advertised as having aircon, TV, awning and heating. It has none of these things (awning and heating are broken, the other two never existed). Van hasn’t been looked after at all. Tables now live on the floor as their brackets have broken. Awning broken (we were told it still worked- it didn’t!). The correct screws would’ve solved the awning and tables problems however they don’t care. Only 1 hob works. Seat leavers broken so difficult to pull seats down and back. Van not cleaned prior to our use, we had to clean when we stopped. Issues with Billy that would make it fail it’s MOT. Reported issues to company on return, misinformation still online and highly likely they’ve not fixed any other defects. Never used pop top as we weren’t shown properly how it opened, but were informed there are multiple holes in it due to people not putting it away properly. Also, not located in Anergavenny as the Google pin indicates- now in Crickhowell. Oh- and don’t expect anyone at the property when dropping off- I think they know they have disgruntled customers so turn up late. AVOID.

    AVOID Hired Big Bertha for 10 days which was advertised as "luxurious", this was definitely not the case!! Bertha is tired and needs some TLC, awning didnt work, tv only works when hooked up and then only plays DVD's, mould in cupboard, lots of signs of wear and tear in van. There was no kettle in camper, we had to use saucepan, no frying pan, toaster tripped electricity (not been PAT tested in 8 years), advertised as 6 berth but only 3 knives supplied, no chemicals for toilet supplied, glass still on cooker from previous customer smashing lid, no dust pan brush etc supplied to clean camper, someones sock found in pull out bed!! Their customer care needs lots of work, we where told we would be reimbursed for issues, this didnt happen. They don't answer emails, messages or phone calls....total cowboy outfit!!!! If your looking for stress free holiday with luxurious van's and great customer service look elsewhere!!!!

    **USE THIS COMPANY AT YOUR PERIL** Very disappointing experience with this company, booked the 4 berth Motorhome on two occasions, first time the Motorhome was new and had that new looked after feeling, although we did have an issue with no hot water, second time the Motorhome was damaged, dented and in need of urgent repair and didn’t live up to the expectations of the first hire, especially when you have to get rid of the last rentals toilet waste as this was left in the Motorhome when collecting it!! The communication from this company is very very poor, we were overcharged on the rental, pointed this out at rental time and we’re told “yeah that looks like our error will sort it out” but they have failed to reimburse the over payment, before trying to tell me the Motorhome was damaged when returned but could provide no evidence of what damage had been caused even though the Motorhome had been returned and a final damage walk around conducted with them? Despite numerous correspondence (since May 2022) and providing the information they have requested, the communication from Abergavenny Motorhome has surprisingly dried up? They seem more than happy to take your money but not too forthcoming in giving it you back!!

    Excellent service…. highly recommend. Nothing was too much trouble for Steve and the team to do. And we were lucky enough that Steve give us the campervan a day early and didn’t charge for the service which allowed us to pack the camper ready for the morning of our trip. I actually asked my girlfriend to marry me while away on this trip so this will always stay in our memories as a great time. Thank you to Steve and everybody at Abergavenny motorhome hire

    DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! Hired the 6 berth for an equestrian event Friday to Monday.received a call from steve a few weeks before saying it had to be returned early by 11 am on the Sunday as he had booked it out to another customer. This was awkward as my daughter was competing until 4 pm but agreed. Steve said he would collect for a cost .A few days before we called to arrange and he then said he couldn’t collect it.We arranged for a friend to take it back for us. On Collecting the van on the Friday we were told it had to returned on the Saturday as steve had booked it in for cleaning. They eventually realised they got it wrong and agreed for the return on Sunday but was asked if we would clean it. (No Hoover or cleaning products provided).The van itself was stinking, toilet stank,stained mattresses, windows wouldn’t open,broken things cellotaped together, lever on toilet broke, leather on seating all flaking off, there was a years worth of crumbs in drawer where toaster was kept to name just a few things. I cleaned the van (even though not my job). I got on my hands and knees with a broken dustpan and brush, washed the floors, disinfected the sink and toilet, it was cleaner than when we collected it! by the Wednesday I still hadn’t had my £500 bond back even after several texts and calls. Thursday morning I received a text off Steve asking me to call him as the van was dirty when it was returned. I rang him, he first said Kieron in the office had said it Was dirty, I asked to speak to Kieron, he refused (so was obviously lying) then changed his story to say the next customer said there was some grass in it. He told me he would deduct money off my bond(even though he hadn’t actually seen the van himself). I now wish I had taken a picture of the van after I cleaned it. The whole business is an absolute shambles and the good reviews I would be a bit sceptical of if I were you!

    My partner and myself had a wonderful week away beginning of the month in the 6 birth van. Jason the young lad in office explained that we needed gas and recommended a place local where we could get it, as he was unable to drive the van. The van was very well presented and very comfortable. Thank you once again for such a lovely vehicle. Would recommend them any day.
