A large group of us hired a 70 foot narrow boat for the weekend. The boat was well equipped and was great fun. The canal we followed (The Trent and Mersey) was extremely beautiful, rural (in parts) and occasionally quite challenging in such a long craft. There were plenty of stopping off points with pubs and other places to get food. The staff at ABC were friendly and helpful
