  We knew nothing at all about building extensions or designing a new space. We thought that maybe we would need an architect to be able to tell us what we could do or talk through options but we were lucky enough to discover Abbotts kitchens. We primarily went into the showroom just to browse kitchens initially and get an idea of what we wanted. Steve was absolutely fantastic about talking through our many options and explained that he would be able to help us work out design for the extension and arrange all the work but also have a designer to be able to help us plan the kitchen itself. Looking at the amazing reviews and viewing their previous projects had I had no hesitation in leaving our project in their very capable hands. Through every step of the process we were able to discuss anything and everything with Steve from the building aspects all the way through to the kitchen planning. I love the fact that Abbotts is a local family run business and I now totally understand how they have five star reviews because they ensure that by providing five star workmanship and customer service. We were able to see projects for ourselves from other satisfied customers in the local area and would also be very happy to do the same. We are so proud of the work that Abbotts have undertaken and the end result is absolutely phenomenal.From when the work started I could not believe how courteous and tidy the team was from digging out the foundations to tidying up after themselves after every day. The end result is just absolutely breathtaking. We have gone from having a separate dining room and kitchen to a beautiful open plan kitchen diner with fitted out utility. Every single profession that was involved from the foundations to the finishing touches was just carried out to the highest level of workmanship. I couldn’t believe that we actually didn’t have any major problems throughout this project because Steve insured that any potential problems or immediately rectified. I am not exaggerating at all to say that the finished results are absolutely flawless. I would love to take this opportunity to thank every member of the Abbott’s team for their careful attention to detail and for making this a wonderful experience all the way through which I certainly was not expecting.   We used Abbotts to build an extension, knock through our existing kitchen and dining room and create one large kitchen/living/dining space. They have done a fantastic job and we absolutely love it. Nothing was too much trouble, from the design (which we changed our mind on a few times) through to the finish and they led us through the whole process. All of the various trades people involved were great, turning up when planned and making sure they tidied up after themselves. There wasn't one that we wouldn't use again if we need any other work doing. The quality of the workmanship and materials and attention to detail has been incredible and every person involved, but particularly Steve, take great pride in their work. Despite supply delays due to the pandemic, the whole project has been on time and the only changes to the original quote have been due to our own changes in specification. We now have a space that the whole family enjoys being in. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Abbotts. Service: Remodeling

  We combined our kitchen and dining room into one space and although COVID got in the way, and elongated the time taken, the results are much better than we had expected. The quality of service was simply outstanding and the inevitable adjustments, necessary because we changed our minds, taken in Steve’s stride. The design, product and workmanship were exemplary. We just wish we could do it all again - well perhaps not!

  Steve and the team at Abbotts Kitchens completed a single storey extension across the rear of our house to enable us to have a large open plan kitchen-dining room. We have been absolutely delighted with the outcome, which has transformed our house and given us the space required to grow as a family. Choosing Abbotts Kitchens meant that we had a team who could plan, manage and execute the whole build process as this was really important to us. Steve guided us expertly through the design and build process, employing local specialist tradesmen to undertake each stage of the build and as such the end-product is of top quality. We had regular design and progress meetings with Steve and Laura, which reduced risks across the whole build and meant we could clearly manage our budget. The team completed the work on-time and to their quotations, their workmanship and work ethic was exceptional, leaving a clean and tidy site at the end of each day. All in all, we would highly recommend Abbotts Kitchens and would not hesitate to use them again in the future.

  We recently had our Kitchen and Dining room knocked together to make a larger, more sociable space but the area that was opened up was an awkward shape, Steve and Laura did a fantastic job of realising our design requirements to make the space work to its best potential! When the fit out came round, the guys did a fantastic job of keeping the space clean and as dust free as possible, they were a brilliant team who all worked together seamlessly to bring the job in within a very short timeframe, even with the unforeseen extras that popped up along the way. I couldn’t recommend these guys highly enough, a very professional service all round right from the start through to the close of the project and beyond, all completed to a high spec.
