So my cat had an appointment to be neutered. Within five minutes of dropping my cat off I receive a phone call saying that shes stressed and unless I pay an extra £20 for a sedative they won’t do the surgery, and if they don’t do the surgery I’ll be charged another £20. The person who I spoke to was not very nice down the phone and was quite rude. I was not very happy as I’d been waiting months for this surgery for her but it just seem to be money after money. Not very welcoming and seem to look down at you. Won’t be returning.

Went to the vets with my cat multiple times, and everytime I went they gave me different answers. And the treatment.. well that's an entirely different matter. It just seems that they want to take as much money from you as possible with as little care as possible. Very upset about this.

By far the worst vets ever!!! The staff are very rude (there’s the odd polite one but 90% of them are just pure rude and in my opinion do not care or mustn’t enjoy their job!) I’ve had a number of encounters with this vets for a variety of different reasons. Most of the time you get different answers from different members of staff and then when you say what you had previously been told they act like you are the liar! They have no sympathy or empathy when you’re going through a difficult time with your pets, and they don’t give the care or attention that they should! They simply want your money is the way it seems!! Will never go here again and I advise anyone who truely cares for their animal to go somewhere else too. They absolutely destroyed my final moment with one of my pets last year, and now a year later (for a different reason) getting told different things from different people AGAIN for my other pet.

I wanted to give a really big Thankyou to Rita for everything you did to keep my precious boy Humphrey with me as long as he was. Rita listened to me in depth and I felt she really understood and wanted to help Humphrey which for a long time, at my previous vets, they were just happy to say they were ‘stumped’ and leave me with that. After my appointment with Rita, she facilitated a referral to an incredible neurologist of whom helped me understand Humphrey and what was sadly happening for him. As a result of going to Abbey vets for a second opinion, it led me to be able to understand my boy and help him be as comfortable as possible in what turned out to be the last year of his life. I’ll be eternally grateful to everyone who helped Humphrey and were sympathetic to how severely petrified of vets he was. Although Humphrey sadly lost his battle recently, without abbey vets, that could have happenned a lot sooner, so again, Thankyou everyone, so much for helping my gorgeous baby Humphrey.
