Big let down. Felt rushed and not welcomed at all. Food is no better than a supermarket microwave meal. Had to ask several times for some water. Staff were rude and acted like we were a hindrance considering we were there to spend money. The atmosphere only isn't getting a 1 star as the company we were with. Would not recommend

The location is great — being right on the canal. But that's basically the only good thing I can say about it these days. The food and service has gone massively downhill, while the prices increase. Years ago, the Aagrah seemed to be about fine dining Indian, whereas now it just seems like your standard (and not very good curry house). The onion bhajis are just onion rings, The quality of the meat is poor (I could barely carve the meat off the bone of a lamb shank last week) and the sauces and pickles just taste like they're straight out of a jar. It's like somehow they've lost all the passion/skill they used to have for making high-quality food. Quite depressing in a way. There are much better places to go for a curry in Skipton. Avoid.

What a waste of calories! Save your money and go to Tesco or Morrison's and have their finest? It would be far better! In my opinion, this is not authentic indian or kashmir quisine.

You'll need to eat fast! We booked a table for 7pm. By 8pm, 1 hour later, we were asked to leave the table because the next customers were waiting. We had just finished our mains when the bill was on the table. No chance of a dessert. We hadn't been informed of a 1 hour table limit. We still had half our drinks left! Other reviewers had shared a similar experience. Cost was £90 for 2 adults and a child. Food was average at best. Disappointed.
