Buchanan Skip Hire
Ordered 110m of palisade fencing. Installed the fencing and found at the end that there were 3 full panels of fish plates and bolts etc. missing from the delivery. Didn't think it would have been an issue for the supplier to send the missing pieces, however they said as we didn't count the 1,000 plus bolts when the driver was unloading them and report it to him they've washed their hands of it. For a cost of circa £40 on an order of several thousand, their customer service has lost a repeat customer.

Be wary, great price but as they say “you pay for what you get”. Paid extra to have bases on the posts, out of the four post three had to be shimmed as they were not square. The gate which cost nearly £500 initially looked good until we attempted to hang it, the holes on the gate or welded hinge pins on the post were about three inches out. The only option without sending it back was to drill out new holes on the gate. All of the above took time and effort so I thought I would flag the issues with AA Fencing, they are apparently still looking into it. Do yourself a favour and pay a bit extra for better quality

Absolute shambles of a company. Worked here for a few months and quit after I had to tell the head manager his standards were unacceptable after asking me to go to the owners house and do gardening for minimum wage cause he’s too cheap to get a gardener.

I made quite a large order of powder coated palisade fencing and a pedestrian gate. Firstly the actual pales used are made from a sheet metal that is too thin, so the parts deform when trying to install using the shear bolts supplied with the fencing. Next was the terrible workmanship of the gate. The actual gate frame is 12mm out of square, not to terrible. Not good but oh well. Then once the gate was hung I tried to close it and realised the gate latch was also out of square and not only slightly but noticed by my customer (see pics). I contacted Gill at AA fencing and raised my issues only raising that the latch looks awful and tried to offer a solution only to then be lied to and fobbed of by the actual fabricator of the gate trying to say that it was because of the galvanising causing a distortion due to heat Then when actually looking closer leasing the powder coating must be a new type of see through black as i could see that the gate was originally green! Cheap for a reason
