Absolutely appalling. I bought a car of the AA car site due to AA saying " YOU'RE IN SAFE HANDS ". Well I wasn't car broke down within 10 minutes of owning it 28-10-2022. The dealer ( Hoodhill motor company) Picked it up the next day 29th October. Nearly 2wks later the car hasn't been fixed and in Newport. The garage has basically shut down. I have no car and basically my money stolen. I'm a single parent with a disabled child who has hospital appointments and I now can't even get him there. Have sent AA 2 emails now and nothing. I have never been so stressed and upset in my live

The AA are a pest, they call you and ask you to verify a lot of your personal information just to try and win back your business. I’ve cancelled several times due to price increases and after telling them to not call, they still do. I don’t leave bad reviews but I’m sick of them. No thanks AA. I’ll get ripped off elsewhere thanks.

Avoid and don't get caught up with the promises!!!!! They say approved dealers but in truth they don't even check these people and they have no power to help. When you have an issue their handlers stop replying and when go to Motor Ombudsman or CAB nothing you can do as they just advertising for garage. They can't take this down as the truth so buyer beware! If you have bought a car from an AA approved dealer and have problems i feel for you as you like me have been sold a lemon thinking that AA approved meant you could buy a car with peace of mind. I have mentioned to rogue traders hoping they will do a report and make people aware of the scam.

Was trying to buy a car I saw on their website. Was told on three separate occasions that I'd get a call back and never received one. Had to keep chasing them up to find out the progress of my application. In the end gave up and went with someone else. Would rather give my money to somewhere with basic customer service skills.
