A simply wonderful experience from AA bike hire. Billy took the time to sit us down in his garden & go through various maps, points of interest and safety advice. The bikes were fantastic value at just £10 per bike for the day (he could easily charge double - in fact the shop just a few minutes walk away charges £22 a bike!). The bikes were perfect for our 20km cycle in the forest. Highly recommended!

Rented 2 adults bikes for the day. Most amazingly friendly guy who owns and runs the shop! Gave us great advice on where to go. Gave us a pump, map and tool kit for no extra charge! An absolute bargain for a great day! Highly recommend

Amazing gem. Retired chap basically runs it as a business out of his shed. Old school set up! Has a bunch of bikes and rents them out at very very affordable prices. No pre booking so have to turn up early but he is responsive by phone. Is located virtually in the car park so very convenient. The bike trail is not far and he gives great instructions. Highly recommended and hope he sticks around for years to come!

I 100% recommend AA Bike Hire. It’s conveniently situated next to a large public car park (with toilets). The owner is friendly and helpful and is endlessly patient in providing advice on routes. Each bike comes with a route guide, pump, toolkit, a backpack and a helmet. The bikes aren’t the newest but they’re well-maintained and perfectly adequate for the trails of the New Forest. And don’t forget the hire charges are less than half those of other hire companies. For a family of 4 that’s a saving of at least £50.

Hired a couple of bikes today with seats for the kids. Not the most up to date bikes but it didn’t matter, they did the job well! Our daughters had an amazing time. We had a fun day and the owner was incredibly helpful and thoughtful. Will be back again!
