Same story as some others recently: I’ve been using this place for years, happily. Today, the manager gets angry when I won’t be upsold on the service. I told him I’d used the same level of valet every time, and he proceeds to question that I’d even been there before. I have no idea when he was confrontational. I left, with only the outside cleaned (£12 charge), and won’t be back.

Used this car wash about a dozen times over the years, because it is the best for miles around….was always delighted with the results, hence my continued custom…not this time though😕….the paintwork finish was as good as I expected,(no noticeable scratches), but the lack of care this time, due to speed, was very disappointing…I had anti-glare film on my wing mirrors so I told them to go carefull when cleaning them, they took no notice of what I said, and removed one with the pressure washer….also, straight after they finished, I did a single wipe of the front screen and the near-side wiper blade fell off!, they hastily re-fitted it..I later noticed scratches on the screen because of this damage caused by lack of care. CONCLUSION…when people bring there cars for hand cleaning, they expect a fast BUT careful job done, not this time….all these hand car washes focus more on speed, than care..I am sure my fellow motorists would want a bigger focus put on care, rather than speed.
