Been searching for a decent place for watch battery replacement and now found it in A1 Shoe Repairs. Used to go to reliable Mr Bailey in Southend Road, Grays until he retired and shut shop a few years ago. William at A1 seems a decent and amicable guy who would replace the battery while you wait for a reasonable price. He'll impart trade secret and give you tip to avoid paying exorbitant charges at the high street jewellers. Only uses top Swiss batteries Renata brand. Top man and this is my go to place for watch battery replacement in future. Highly recommended.

The man serving me was rude and arrogant I wanted a watch strap he just pointed to the strap he then was shaking his head because it was a new watch and he had to peel plastic off to do work and then made a mistake which is not end of World did not link it up properly but gave me back my watch I put it on my arm and he was like what then I said not done . I don't mind errors but do not stand for rude people .Will not be going back for any service to hi
