I run an independent Training Company and have delivered training for A1 Homecare since 2021 however previously to this worked for A1 Homecare as an in-house trainer in 2014 so have got to know the company very well over the years. A1 Homecare run a dedicated and passionate service. The company has been built on underpinning values that seek to change the face of aging by providing highly skilled care practitioners to clients living in the community. The management team have a strong emphasis towards learning and development and are always seeking to provide opportunities to staff wherever possible to enhance their skills. All staff have been approachable, kind and understanding and have always been extremely welcoming to those coming into the service. The registered manager Nicky goes above and beyond the call of duty to ensure that client's lead a fulfilling life and thrive within the communities they live in, and this culture and ethos transmits to staff who I have found so far have been incredibly dignified and always looking at ways in which they can make a positive difference to those they support. All staff receive face to face training that is on a very practical level in regard to medication and move and assist training and staff are taught to be able to recognise areas of need and how to report these with confidence. The training room is well equipped and the whole team within the office work hard to ensure that staff are well supported and looked after within their role. I have no hesitations in recommending A1 Homecare as a care provider and hope that if I ever need to receive care and support, that this is done so in the style that A1 Homecare delivers their services to clients in the community. I would summarise their service by saying they are incredibly well-led and are extremely responsive, passionate and dedicated to each and every person within their service. Thank you, A1 Homecare, for everything you do, it is always an absolute pleasure working with you.

I’m unable to recommend the services of A1 Home Care Ltd. Unfortunately, I had cause for complaint on three separate occasions regarding the standard of care provided to my elderly father, who suffers from dementia, by A1 Home Care Ltd. My final, most serious, complaint followed a fall that my father suffered in his home. He sustained a severe head injury and extensive facial bruising which, despite four care visits (which included administering his medication) over a 48 hour period, remained unnoticed and unreported by A1 Home Care Ltd carers. We have since dispensed with their services.
