Fantastic, prompt, friendly and reliable service. I used A1 cars after getting a recommendation from a local SW18 neighbourhood forum and was pleasantly surprised! The driver collected 3 of us from 3 separate stops en route to the airport and it was totally smooth without any delays - this is how taxi companies should be run… without the uncertainty and frustration of using the mainstream ride hailing apps which (in my experience) seem to always let me down. Used A1 Cars for an airport trip this week when there was a train strike. Booked online and got a confirmation via email, then was sent the drivers number via text 3 hours before leaving and got a tracking link when he was dispatched. Driver turned up 10mins early and wasn’t pushy about leaving early so that was perfect to not be stressed about being late. Price was very reasonable, driver Sam was helpful with bags and very nice. From our experience would recommend

Do not use this taxi firm. Last summer they cancelled my return taxi on me, leaving me stranded on the wrong side of London as a lone female during tube strikes after a concert. I was giving them a second chance last week and they arrived 35mins late to pick me up for the airport. I missed my flight as a result. When I tried to discuss this with them on the phone, they hung up on me. Absolute jokers who are not qualified to be running a taxi firm. Avoid.
