Fantastic family run business. From start to finish I cannot rate Marilyn (mum) and Dave (son) more highly. We bought a motorhome in June that had beautiful upholstery but not practical with 2 dogs, so wanted to change to leather or faux leather. Got a number of quotes for real & faux leather, A1 were the most competitive. They gave us lots of advice and various free samples sent to us to choose from. Free collection and delivery service and the end result is amazing, the reupholstered covers look fantastic. Would definitely recommend A1 it was a pleasure doing business with them.

These are pictures of the reupholstery that were supplied by A1 caravan and motorhome upholstery, I tried to resolve these issues with them without any success, I felt threatened by their intimidating approach, therefore I had to get new upholstery elsewhere, it was probably the worst experience I have ever had with a trade company.

Recent customers who needed upholstery to complete a self-build campervan. Working during lockdown can't have been easy. We had conversations with about 20 upholsterers - some local non-specialists, some specialist 'leisure vehicle' upholsterers - all over the country in fact. We got quotes from them all, having provided 3D images from CAD of the exact layout and dimensions. Of all the ones we spoke to, A1 were head and shoulders above the rest. They responded quickly, did what they said they would do, and gave the best price as well. They arranged for fabric samples to be delivered to us, and we were able to choose safely in our own home. They then made, and personally delivered the cushions to us 150miles away from their base, having pulled out all the stops to get the job finished and delivered in time for us to use the van the next day. The quality of the workmanship and finish is far in excess of what I could have hoped for. Little things like the quality of the piped edges (which I wasn't expecting to get but am thrilled I did) and the fact the buttons are set such that they're central in the visible area of the cushions when all in place all make me dead happy we chose them. I was a little worried about it being done remotely, but the quality is good, the service was good, and the price was good. I won't say how much but suffice to say compared to other 'specialists', there was a very considerable saving to be made which would pay for quite a lot of nice kit to go in a van... .
