Frustrating experience at best dealing with ARMA over the years as a resident and a company director. I'll update if my experience changes.

ARMA doesn't exist. No wonder average rating poor. The phone is never manned. Answerphone, but then ARMA completely ignore and don't reply to answerphone messages. Absolutely disgraceful. Where is the management? Sack everyone. Collecting salaries for doing no work.

This is private club of managing agents who are rip off Leaseholders/Fleeceholders in daily basis. They are the reason Leasehold should abolished and majority AMMA members absolute rip off artists! My ARMA member Mainstay/Firstport ripping us off daily basis and commit frauds ! When you ask ARMA they do nothing asking us to go to property ombudsman (another useless organisation) ARMA should be banned and Nigel should be held accountable for practice by itsmembers. I'm surveyor and I can prove how ARMA members stealing service charge money by producing false accounts. Leaseholders should not be recognised ARMA. It's a private club.

I thought the role of a professional trade body was to define best practice and be transparent about it. How come then, when asked a questioned about a best practice standards on an issue; that ARMA are not prepared to share that best practice with a member of the public. Clearly ARMA has no interest in promoting transparent best practice and does not deserve any industry accreditation

Called them to get advise on a complaint thats currently being investigated by the ombudsman, when I mentioned the name of the managing agent they became very defensive, may I remind you that this country has laws and when they are broken I have the right to complain .
